Photometric Characteristics of Light-Signalling Devices for Motorcycles
1. SCOPE
This Standard specifies the technical requirements, testing methods and inspection regulations relating to the photometric characteristics of front position lamps, rear position lamps, brake lamps, direction indicators and rear registration plate lamps for use on motorcycles and mopeds.
This standard is applicable to front position lamps, rear position lamps, brake lamps, direction indicators and rear registration plate lamps for use on mopeds and motorcycles.
The various types of signal lamp mentioned above are also referred to as “devices” within this standard.

The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (corrigenda excluded) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below.
