Vehicle event data recorder system
1 SCOPE
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods and requirements, appearance and identification, extension of vehicle type, and product manual with respect to the event data recorder system (EDR) for vehicles of Category M1.
This Standard applies to the Category M1 vehicles equipped with the EDR, while other categories of vehicles may use this standard as a reference.

3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 14166 and the followings apply.

The impact or other physical event which reaches or exceeds the trigger threshold, or any other event resulting in the deployment of non-reversible restraint, whichever occurs first
