Methods for Hydrostatic Test of Gas Cylinders

1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the methods for hydrostatic test of gas cylinders and the basic requirements for test apparatus.
This standard is applicable to hydrostatic test for seamless steel gas cylinders, welded gas cylinders, seamless aluminum alloy gas cylinders and fiber-wrapped gas cylinders.
This standard is not applicable to non-refillable steel cylinders for industrial use and gas cylinders filled with solid packing.
