1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the symbols and locations of the motor vehicle controls, indicators and tell-tales, and the basic requirements for the colors displayed by the tell-tales.
This standard applies to the vehicles of categories M and N.
This standard doesn’t apply to the special controls, indicators and tell-tales of electric vehicles.
