1 Scope<\/p>\n
This standard specifies the general requirements, test items, applicability, equipment, samples, test conditions, test methods and result judgment etc. of the durability test in the environment of motor vehicle, exterior lighting of trailers and light signal device. Wherein, the test items include the thermal cyclic tests of headlamps and front foglights, thermal cyclic tests for general purposes, thermal shock tests, heat distortion tests, salt spray tests, dust tests, random vibration tests, waterproof tests, light distribution specula strength tests and tests for lubricant, fuel oil and cleaning fluid resistance and light source irradiation tests. This standard is applicable to motor vehicles of category M, N and O, exterior lighting of trailers and light signal device (except retroreflectors).<\/p>\n
