1 SCOPE<\/div>\n
This standard specifies the composition, design patterns, application of body appearance markers for special school bus, school bus plate, signs in advance for school bus stop, school bus stop signs, markings of school bus stop, replacement, and test methods, with regard to the marker for school bus.<\/div>\n
This standard is applicable to the markers for school bus and relevant facilities.<\/div>\n

For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions established in GB 7258-2004 and the following apply.<\/div>\n
3.1 School bus<\/div>\n
Bus and passenger car intended for transferring at least five students, and their attendants, to\/from such educational institutions as kindergarten, primary school, and middle school; with respect to passenger, school bus can be classified into school bus for infants, school bus for primary students, and other school bus; with respect to vehicle attribute, school bus can be classified into special school bus and non-special school bus.<\/div>\n
