\nThis standard applies to the vehicles of categories N2, N3, O3 and O4.
\nThis standard doesn\u2019t apply to semi-trailer towing vehicles, or the vehicles designed and constructed for special purposes where it is not possible, for practical reasons, to fit such lateral and rear underrun protection devices. The rear underrun protection requirements don\u2019t apply to the vehicles specially designed and constructed for the carriage of very long loads of indivisible length, such as the vehicles for transportation of timber or other goods;<\/p>\n
