\n0 INTRODUCTION
\nConsidering the safety risk and certification risk of the motorcycle products, this Rules was developed to specify the general principles and requirements of implementing compulsory certification for all motorcycle products covered by its application scope, and is intended to ensure the certified motorcycle products consistently comply with the requirements of applicable laws & regulations and standards.
\nThis Rules is used together with the such general implementation rules issued by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People\u2019s Republic of China (CNCA) as “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification – Classified Management of Manufacturers, and Selection and Determination of Certification Mode”, “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification – Utilization of Manufacturer\u2019s Testing Resources and Other Certification Results” and “Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification \u2013 General Requirements for Factory Inspection”.
\nCertification body shall, based on the classified management of manufacturing enterprises, develop the Detailed Implementation Rules, pursuant to the general implementation rules and this Rules, which shall be put into effect in conjunction with the general implementation rules and this Rules.
\nThe manufacturing enterprise shall ensure that the certified products consistently comply with the requirements of certification and applicable standards.
\n1 APPLICATION SCOPE
\nThis Rules applies to the motorcycle products operating on highways and urban roads in China.
\nThis Rules doesn’t apply to:
\na. The track motorcycle, track racer or off-road motorcycle which is not designed or manufactured for operating and using on roads;<\/p>\n
