\n0 Introduction<\/p>\n
For the purpose of the safety risk and certification risk of the external lighting and light-signaling devices for motor vehicles, the Rules was formulated to specify the general principles and requirements of implementing compulsory product certification for external lighting and light-signaling devices for motor vehicles.
\nThe Rules shall be used together with the following general implementation rules issued by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People\u2019s Republic of China (CNCA): Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification – Selection and Determination of Classified Management and Certification Mode for Factories, Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification \u2013 Utilization of Factory\u2019s Test Resources and Other Certification Result, and Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification \u2013 General Requirements for Factory Inspection, etc.
\nCertification authority shall establish the detailed rules for implementation of certification (hereinafter referred to as \u201cdetailed rules\u201d) pursuant to the general implementation rules and this Rules, which shall be put into effect in conjunction with the general implementation rules and this Rules.
\nManufacturers shall ensure that the certified products consistently comply with the requirements of certification and applicable standards.<\/p>\n
1 Application Scope<\/p>\n
The Rules applies to the external lighting and light-signaling devices for motor vehicles of Categories M, N, O and L.
\nThe adjustment of application scope caused by the changes of factors such as laws, regulations, relevant product standards, technologies, and industrial policies shall be subject to the announcement issued by CNCA.<\/p>\n
