1 Scope<\/p>\n

This standard specifies the average calculated mass of each passenger & crew, the hand baggage and the baggage other than hand baggage on the bus, the surface area available for each standing passenger, the allowable baggage laden mass per unit volume of baggage compartment and per unit area of roof baggage rack, and the calculation methods of the number of passengers and crew, the bus baggage laden mass, and the maximum design laden mass.
\nThis standard is applicable to Categories M2 and M3 buses, while other categories of vehicles may use this standard as a reference.<\/p>\n
