1 SCOPE<\/div>\n
This document establishes a test method for immunity of electrical\/electronic components for road vehicles to disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy, i.e., reverberation chamber method.<\/div>\n
This document establishes the test method for applying an electromagnetic disturbance to the device under test (DUT) and the wiring harness (in-vehicle or standard test harness) in the reverberation chamber; during test, the support equipment of the DUT can be placed either inside or outside the reverberation chamber, using the tuned mode.<\/div>\n
This document is applicable to the immunity testing of electrical\/electronic components for Categories M, N, O and L vehicles, regardless of the vehicle propulsion system, e.g., spark-ignition engine, diesel engine and electric motor.<\/div>\n
