This part of GB\/T 18487 specifies classification, general requirements, communications, protection against electric shock, connection between EV and EV supply equipment (EVSE), special requirements for vehicle coupler, plug and socket-outlet, EV supply equipment constructional requirements, performance requirements, overload protection and short circuit protection, emergency disconnect, service conditions, repair, marking and instructions for electric vehicle conductive charging system.
\nThis part applies to the EV supply equipment which provides off-board conductive charging for EV, e.g. AC charging spot, off-board charger and connection set for charging electric vehicle, etc., with a rated supply voltage up to 1,000 V AC or up to 1,500 V DC, and a rated output voltage up to 1,000 V AC or up to 1,500 V DC.
