\n1 SCOPE<\/p>\n

This standard specifies the evaluation methods and targets for the fuel consumption of vehicle type and the corporate average fuel consumption of passenger cars.
\nThis standard applies to all Category M1 vehicles with a maximum design total mass not exceeding 3,500kg, including gasoline or diesel fuelled vehicles, battery electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and gaseous fuel vehicles.
\nThis standard doesn\u2019t apply to the vehicles that are fuelled with alcohol ether fuels only.<\/p>\n
