This document specifies the electrical requirements and test methods for the electrical and electronic components with a nominal voltage of 48V DC in road vehicles.<\/div>\n
This document is applicable to the electrical behaviors of the components with a supply voltage of 48V DC. For the energy storage systems, the electrochemical part is not tested while the management system is tested alone as an independent DUT.<\/div>\n
This document includes the general requirements for 48V DC electrical systems, voltage ranges, and voltage transients and fluctuations, but excludes electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).<\/div>\n
