\n1 SCOPE<\/p>\n

This Standard specifies the test methods and performance requirements of commercial vehicles wheels.
\nThis Standard applies to the disc wheels, spoke wheels and the wheels with demountable rims of commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n

2 TEST SAMPLE<\/p>\n

The wheels for test shall be the representative new wheels which are manufactured in complete procedure and intended to be fitted on the vehicles. Each wheel shall be intended for one test only.<\/p>\n

3 DYNAMIC BENDING FATIGUE TEST OF DISC WHEEL<\/p>\n

3.1 Test Equipment<\/p>\n

The test machine shall have a driven rotatable device whereby either the wheel rotates under the influence of a stationary bending moment or the wheel is stationary and is subjected to a rotating bending moment (See Figure 1).<\/p>\n
