This standard specifies the rules of rounding off for numerical values, expression and judgment methods of numerical values and limiting values, relevant terms and symbols, and methods of comparing the measured value or its calculated value with the limiting value specified in the standard.
\nThis standard applies to the various numerical values measured and calculated in science, technology and production activities. The rules set out in this standard shall apply when the obtained numerical values require to be rounded off.
\nThis standard applies to the compilation of all kinds of standards or other technical specifications as well as the judgment of the testing results.<\/p>\n
