1 SCOPE<\/p>\n
This Standard specifies the technical requirements and measurement methods for emission pollutants at normal and low ambient temperatures, two-speed idle emissions, crankcase emissions, evaporative emissions, the durability of pollution control device and on-board diagnostic (OBD) system of light-duty hybrid electric vehicles equipped with positive-ignition engines;
\nThis Standard also specifies the technical requirements and measurement methods for emission pollutants at normal temperature, free acceleration smoke, the durability of pollution control device and on-board diagnostic (OBD) system of light-duty hybrid electric vehicles equipped with compression-ignition engines.
\nThis Standard specifies the type test, check and verification methods of conformity of production and in-service conformity of light-duty hybrid electric vehicles.
\nThis Standard applies to light-duty hybrid electric vehicles equipped with positive-ignition engines or compression-ignition engines having a maximum design speed of greater than or equal to 50 km\/h. For vehicles solely featured with engine stop at idle, as defined in QC\/T 837, their emissions shall be measured as conventional vehicles and not be included in the scope of this standard.<\/p>\n
