1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, performance requirements and test methods for windscreen wiper and washer systems of motor vehicles, including the methods for measuring sweep field of windscreen wiper.
This standard applies to the 180° forward field of vision of the drivers of vehicles in Category M1.
