Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification – Self-Declaration

0 INTRODUCTION
The self-declaration evaluation method is incorporated into the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) system, on the basis of third-party certification by comparison with the international advanced conformity assessment system, so as to deepen the reform and innovation of the quality certification system, strengthen the enterprises’ entity responsibility, reduce institutional transaction costs, and optimize the CCC procedure. For the products in the CCC Catalogue to which the self-declaration evaluation method applies, the producer (manufacturer) shall accomplish the self-declaration and the submission of product conformity information, in accordance with the requirements of this Rules, and the application of the CCC mark.
1 SCOPE
This Rules is applicable to the products contained in the CCC Catalogue to which the self-declaration evaluation method applies.
This Rules specifies the requirements concerning CCC self-declaration evaluation method, e.g. definitions, self-declaration procedure, requirement for the submission of conformity information and the self-declaration, CCC mark, post-market supervision, and responsibilities and obligations of interested parties.
