Nickel-Metal Hydride Batteries for Electric Vehicles

1 SCOPE

This Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of nickel-metal hydride batteries for electric vehicles (hereunder abbreviated as battery).
This Standard applies to sealed nickel-metal hydride batteries for electric vehicles with nominal voltage 1.2V for secondary cell and n x 1.2V for module (n is number of batteries, n5).
