1 SCOPE

This part of GB/T 31467 specifies test methods for electrical property of high power lithium-ion traction battery pack and system for electric vehicles.
This part applies to the lithium-ion traction battery packs and systems installed on electric vehicles and mainly intended for high power applications; the nickel-hydrogen traction battery pack and system for high power applications may also refer to this Part.

3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 19596 and the followings apply.

3.1
Battery electronics
Electronic device that collects and/or monitors thermal and electric data of cells or modules, and may contain electronics for cell balancing, if necessary.
Note: The battery electronics may include a cell controller. The functionality of cell balancing may be controlled by the battery electronics or by the battery control unit (BCU).
