1 SCOPE

This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage, with respect to the magnesium alloy castings for electric bicycle and motorcycle wheels.
This Standard is applicable to magnesium alloy castings for electric bicycle and motorcycle wheels.

3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

Magnesium alloy casting for electric bicycle wheels and electric motorcycle wheels
casting for electric vehicle wheels of which either or both rim and disc are made of magnesium alloy (hereinafter referred to as wheel casting)
