1 SCOPE

This document describes the test methods for small and medium power internal combustion engines (rated power  560 kW).

This document is applicable to the small and medium power internal combustion engines (hereinafter referred to as “ICE”) for road vehicles, ships, agricultural tractors and forestry machinery, engineering machinery, generator sets, irrigation and drainage machinery, while this document may be used as a reference for other small and medium power ICEs to which no document applies currently.
