1 SCOPE

This document specifies the general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, and criteria for determination of the same type, with respect to protecting drivers from being injured by steering mechanism in the event of a frontal collision for motor vehicle.

This document is applicable to vehicles of Categories M1 and N1 and multipurpose goods vehicles.
